Returns and Exchanges

We are confident you will love your order from Alf & Co. just as much as we do. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase(s), you can return or exchange your goods for any other item or transfer the purchase amount to an E-Gift card with a 12 month expiration date. You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return please contact us at hello@alfandco.co.uk detailing the details of your order return/exchange. Once your email is received we will reply with further instruction as to how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Returns

All items from the website can be returned, except personal care goods (such as dummy’s, pacifiers, teethers) and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Please ensure that all of the below criteria is met prior to returning your item(s) to us by checking the points below.

  • Return items must be intact, in perfect condition ready to be resold and in their original packaging.
  • The return must be made within 14 days of you receiving your order.
  • Items must not be worn or used, nor have deteriorated in any way, no matter how small, and must be perfectly clean.
  • Any item that is damaged, incomplete or without original packaging and tags will not be refunded nor exchanged.
  • We cannot refund your original or return postage costs if you have changed your mind.

Once you are happy to send your item(s) back to us we advise that you ensure the following criteria is met.

  • Email us at hello@alfandco.co.uk with details of your order return or exchange. We will then advise how and where to return your unwanted item(s).
  • Package your return carefully.
  • Use a registered service for the return and we recommend that you retain your proof of posting. We are not responsible for items that do not reach us and are not obliged to provide a refund should an item not arrive. We reserve the right to refuse a refund should the above criteria not be met.
  • Returns must arrive with us within 14 days. Neither refunds or exchanges can be issued after this timeframe. 
  • We will notify you via email once we have received and inspected your return item(s). If approved, we will advise your return or exchange/E-Gift Card options.
  • Original postage costs are non-refundable. Please note that all or any return postage costs are payable by you the customer and not Alf & Co. Alf & Co. are not responsible for any return postage costs for any item(s) wanted to be returned or exchanged.

 

Damages and issues


Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items


Certain types of items cannot be returned, like personal care goods (such as dummy’s, pacifiers, teethers)and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Non Delivery

If an item fails to be delivered due to an incorrect address being provided at point of sale, or returned to Alf & Co. after a failed delivery attempt and further failure to collect the order from your local postal depot, you will be responsible for return postage costs back to your address. If a refund is preferred initial postage costs will be non-refundable in this case.

Upon receipt of the item(s) we will process your refund which will be issued via your original method of payment.

 

Refunds


We will notify you via email once we have received and inspected your return. If all returns criteria has been met, we will contact you to advise your refund or exchange/gift card options.

If approved, your refund will be processed via your original method of payment within a certain amount of days. 

 

Exchange/E-Gift Card Returns

If all returns criteria has been met any item(s) for exchange will be confirmed and new goods will be shipped out via our standard delivery. Should an exchanged item be higher or lower in value than the original order, any monies owed or owing will be confirmed and either additional payment requested or gift card or refund processed via the original method of payment.

All refunds transferred onto an E-Gift Card will be processed via email only and will have a 12month expiration date from issue.

 

All or any items from the website can be returned within a 14 day timeframe, except those mentioned otherwise. In accordance with the legislation governing e-commerce, return items must be intact, in perfect condition ready to be resold and in their original packaging. They must not be worn or used, nor have deteriorated in any way, no matter how small, and must be perfectly clean. Any item that is damaged, incomplete or whose original packaging has deteriorated will not be refunded nor exchanged.

 

Sale Items

Only full priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. All sales of discounted items and samples are final. 

 

Cancellations

If you want to cancel your order please notify us within two hours of the purchase online by emailing us hello@alfandco.co.uk. 

If you notify us that you wish to cancel your order after it has shipped out, we will not refund the original shipping cost on your order and you may also incur an additional return to sender fee if it is issued by the courier or postal service used for your delivery.
